  • Learn if/how your state/local VR and disability partners work with AJC business services staff to identify sector/industry needs, develop jobs, create apprenticeships, provide training and OJT opportunities, and/or support Stay-at-Work and Return-to-Work
  • Explore real-life examples of how VR and other disability employment partners identify opportunities for the customization of jobs.
  • Research how business needs are assessed with employers and how VR and other disability employment partners may work together to identify opportunities for qualified individuals with disabilities.
  • Research how VR and workforce systems determine if an individual is eligible for an OJT and if they have leveraged resources for people with disabilities to benefit from an OJT.
  • Identify apprenticeships, internships, and other work-based learning experiences that might be available through AJCs, VR, schools, community colleges, and other institutes of higher education.
