Partnership on Inclusive Apprenticeship

Fall 2021 | Apprenticeship

The Partnership on Inclusive Apprenticeship (PIA) collaborates with employers and apprenticeship intermediary organizations to design inclusive apprenticeship programs that meet employer talent needs and enable people with disabilities to gain credentials and skills to succeed in growing industries.

PIA identifies and creates resources needed to structure and sustain inclusive apprenticeship programs. For example, Designing Inclusive Apprenticeships: A Guide for Recruiting & Training Apprentices with Disabilities is designed to help intermediary organizations and employers create more diverse, inclusive, and accessible apprenticeship programs. It includes recommendations, resources, and accessibility considerations to effectively source, engage, and support apprentices with disabilities.
