The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for Managers and Supervisors

“Objectives for ADA Fundamentals for Supervisors course:

  • Recognize when an employee’s ADA rights may be impacted by the employer’s decisions, and take actions that respect those rights and comply with requirements under the law
  • Respond appropriately to employees who may need a reasonable accommodation for a disability; follow the appropriate process
  • Create and supervise a working environment that is welcoming and accessible for all employees​
  • Ensure that the employee is not discriminated or retaliated against by anyone as a result of having the accommodation”
