Michael Kormas is the National Employment Coordinator with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He has been advising veterans and employers who are looking to hire apprentices for two decades.


Auriana Robin sets up apprenticeships for Apprenti – an intermediary organization in the tech industry. She recruits employers and helps veterans get placed into apprenticeships and eventually be hired permanently.


Brandon Henning was medically discharged due to combat injuries after 16 years of active duty and a deployment as a heavy equipment mechanic with a Stryker brigade in Iraq. For the last four years he has been working for US Fire Equipment in Sumner, Washington, where he finished his apprenticeship in May of 2020 as an inside sales engineer.
