“The State of Delaware requests renewal for a Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) waiver. This is a renewal of the DDDS Waiver that has been in continuous operation since 1987. The DDDS waiver is targeted to individuals with intellectual disabilities (including brain injury) and autism spectrum disorder who can no longer live independently or with their family. The waiver includes an array of services and supports designed to enable the individual to live safely in the community and to respect and support their desire to work or engage in other productive activities.”

Delaware PROMISE (Promoting Optimal Mental Health for Individuals through Supports and Empowerment) program

The PROMISE program (Promoting Optimal Mental Health for Individuals through Supports and Empowerment) will target individuals with behavioral health needs and functional limitations to offer an array of home and community-based services (HCBS) that are person-centered, recovery-oriented, and aimed at supporting beneficiaries in the community.

California HCS Workforce Initative: BH-CONNECT

The BH-CONNECT Section 1115 demonstration approval includes a $1.9 billion Workforce Initiative. The Workforce Initiative will support the training, recruitment and retention of behavioral health practitioners to provide services across the continuum of care.
The Workforce Initiative includes five workforce programs administered in partnership with the Department of Healthcare Access and Information (HCAI) over the 5-year demonstration period (2025-2029).

California HCS Working Disabled Program

The 250% Working Disabled Program (250% WDP) allows certain working disabled individuals to become eligible for Medi-Cal by paying low monthly premiums based on net countable income. Program enrollment is done at the local county welfare department.

Arkansas Workers with Disabilities

The Workers with Disabilities Medicaid program provides full Medicaid coverage to individuals with disabilities who are employed. The primary goal is to support disabled individuals in maintaining employment while ensuring they have access to necessary healthcare.

Arizona Freedom to Work Program

AHCCCS offers insurance for qualified individuals who are working and have a disability. This program is called the AHCCCS Freedom to Work Program.

The Alaska Scorecard has been revised to align with Strengthening the System: Comprehensive Integrated Mental Health Program Plan 2020-2024 (Strengthening the System). The Scorecard is a data measurement tool that examines the population health outcomes of Alaskans receiving care and services as described in Strengthening the System.
