“Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD) Program
Medicaid Waiver Services provide a range of services and support in the home and community for eligible participants. Services assist participants with achieving their goals and increasing their quality of life. HBH takes pride in the quality of services our dedicated staff provide. In addition to meeting the Medicaid Waiver Program requirements, HBH staff are also certified in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training to increase the knowledge and skills of our staff. HBH’s DDD Program offers the following Medicaid Waiver Services to children and adults referred by the Department of Health, Developmental Disabilities Division on the islands of Oahu and Hawaii:

Discovery and Career Planning (DCP)
Services combine elements of traditional pre-vocational services with career planning to provide supports that the participant may use to develop skills and interests for advancement or a change in the participant’s career plan.

Individual Employment Services (IES)
Services are designed to maximize the participant’s skills, talents, abilities, and interest for employment in a competitive integrated work setting.”
