Jamie Robinson is the Manager of Financial Empowerment and Workforce for National Disability Institute (NDI). She has over 15 years’ experience working to increase employment and financial stability of individuals with disabilities. She served as national technical assistance liaison under two successive disability-employment initiatives for the US Department of Labor, assisting job centers to implement universal access and systems change. Jamie has also served as project manager for the MyFreeTaxes Partnership, a national initiative providing free tax preparation and assistance to qualifying taxpayers and their families. Prior to NDI, Jamie worked for three workforce centers in Massachusetts as a disability program navigator and served as coordinator of a vocational program for d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing adults at the Lexington School for the Deaf in New York. Jamie holds a master’s degree in Deafness Rehabilitation from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut. She is also fluent in American Sign Language.
