The National Resources for Advocacy, Independence, Self-determination and Employment (RAISE) Technical Assistance Center

The National RAISE Center provides technical assistance (TA) and support to the seven Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA)-funded Parent Training & Information Centers (PTIs) that work with transition-aged youth with disabilities and their families to access transition services, vocational rehabilitation (VR) programs, and career development opportunities. RAISE helps the RSA-PTIs interpret and implement the provisions of the Rehabilitation Act, and focuses on reaching and serving individuals from culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse backgrounds.  The seven RSA-PTIs are The LINK Center (Federation of Children with Special Needs), New York State Transition Partners (Starbridge, Parent Network of Western New York, INCLUDEnyc), Open Doors for Multicultural Families, Project LAUNCH (PACER), REACH for Transition (SPAN Parent Advocacy Network), Shift Transition Project (PEAK Parent Center), and STELLAR (Missouri Parents Act).
